Over the last few months I have been in awe of the hedgerows along the Cornish lanes. It seems that each time I travel across Cornwall, the hedgerows are displaying something different. First it was the Bluebells, then Pink Campions & Buttercups, then Foxgloves, and now the Montbretia is in full-orange flower. I wonder what will come next?
These flower-laden hedgerows reminded me of this verse from Ecclesiastes 3:11,
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end."
This last year has taken it's toll in many areas of our lives, and for some us, our ministries may have really struggled through the pandemic. If your ministry is struggling right now, please take encouragement from Ecclesiastes - no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
Next time you pass the flowers in the hedgerows, may you know that God makes all things beautiful in its time.
God bless,
Beth
